I cannot quite believe that Andrew Wakefield lodged a complaint to the Press Complaints Commission regarding a Sunday Times article written by Brian Deer.
Reading the blog at http://holfordwatch.info/2009/03/16/andrew-wakefield-lodges-complaint-about-brian-deer-with-press-complaints-commission/, it’s clear to me that Andrew Wakefield should take full responsibility for his actions. Perhaps then he can start the recovery process to become fully rehabilitated into the scientific community, but looking at his rack record I somehow doubt that he will change. Perhaps he thinks that he will be considered a martyr by his adoring "followers". But it’s a sad story. And the media are not blameless themselves for feeding the MMR scare stories.
