As informative as ever, Pharyngula (I can even spell it now!) provided a link to an article by Bobbie Jean Pentecost titled "50 Reasons I Reject Evolution". So funny!

Charles Darwin, born two hundred years ago, published "The Origin of Species" one hundred and fifty years ago.
The first diagram is a redrawn and colourised representation of an extraction from his "Notebook B" page 36 circa 1837 where we see Darwin documenting his ideas on evolution. A scan of Darwin’s notebook is also shown.

This James Randi lecture at NASA took place quite a while ago, but I was going through the randi.org video archives and reacquainted myself with its content. The full lecture, in 12 parts, is available at http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=07A38150C7FC8CCB and is very entertaining and full of golden nuggets.
However, for the purposes of this article, part 4 and part 5 has Randi talking about homeopathy. Hilarious!

Thanks to Pharyngula, I was pointed to Sita Sings the Blues animation. 1 hour and 21 minutes of joy and sadness. A real treat!
Nina Paley’s website for this animation is http://www.sitasingstheblues.com/ and is definitely worth a visit.

I’ve been blogging using WordPress for a while now. The software has improved over the years, especially the editor which now has a fair amount of in-built sophistication.
However, yesterday I came across a LifeHacker article on blogging editor “Windows Liver Writer” (WLW). Although I had dabbled with the various Microsoft “Live” software I had not actually used WLW. Having read the LifeHacker article I downloaded WLW and am impressed with its features. It’s compatible with a number of blogging platforms and it recognised my WordPress platform without trouble. Sweet!
This article is written using WLW so I’m still experimenting. I’m sure that I will be using more WLW features as I become more aware of its features and flexibility.
