WTF! Is this true?

From The Register:

Google Street View logs WiFi networks, Mac addresses. Why are you doing this?, ask Germans

It seems that Big Brother IS here and has been for a while. We just never knew it.

Further to my recent article Chiropractor’s back off! at http://www.metalvortex.com/blog/2010/04/15/384.html regarding the British Chiropractic Association on their dropping the libel case against Simon Singh, I’ve came across an article from the excellent Ben Goldacre at http://www.badscience.net/2010/04/british-chiropractic-association-drops-shameful-libel-case-against-science-writer-who-criticised-them/ which goes into a bit more depth. Well worth a read.

There is another excellent article from Stuff and Nonsense at http://jdc325.wordpress.com/2010/04/01/simon-singh-and-the-british-chiropractic-association/

But libel lays in this country need to be improved, and the fight against nonsense continues!

The BBC have reported that “Hindu caste leaders in the northern Indian state of Haryana have given their backing to six people convicted last month in an "honour killing" case.”

The full article at http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/8617576.stm

Firstly, “caste” is an evil that must be eliminated. And not just in India but also in other countries where those of sub-continent origin implement such barbarity.

Secondly, these killings are the actions of an evil people.

Thirdly, support for these killers demonstrates the backwardness and evilness of the “Hindu cast leaders”.

Fourthly, such killings are anything but “honourable”.

In short, thoroughly evil actions by an evil people.

If you’ve read some of my articles or explored the links on this blog, you’re likely to have come across the site What’s The Harm? which details the harm caused seeking medical treatment based on homeopathy, superstitions, faith healing, witchcraft, fairy tales and other pseudosciences. In short, a failure to think critically.

There are a couple of YouTube videos that explain how homeopathy lead to the death of a baby, and which also explain the use of proper clinical trials.

Here are links to my blog articles about homeopathic harm:
