Further to my recent article Chiropractor’s back off! at http://www.metalvortex.com/blog/2010/04/15/384.html regarding the British Chiropractic Association on their dropping the libel case against Simon Singh, I’ve came across an article from the excellent Ben Goldacre at http://www.badscience.net/2010/04/british-chiropractic-association-drops-shameful-libel-case-against-science-writer-who-criticised-them/ which goes into a bit more depth. Well worth a read.

The British Chiropractic Association has dropped its libel case against Simon Singh. Good. Full article at the BBC at:

The BBC have reported that “Hindu caste leaders in the northern Indian state of Haryana have given their backing to six people convicted last month in an "honour killing" case.”

Firstly, “caste” is an evil that must be eliminated. And not just in India but also in other countries where those of sub-continent origin implement such barbarity.
Secondly, these killings are the actions of an evil people.
Thirdly, support for these killers demonstrates the backwardness and evilness of the “Hindu cast leaders”.
Fourthly, such killings are anything but “honourable”.
In short, thoroughly evil actions by an evil people.
