"The Last Kasbah"

This trip to Morocco was in December 2003. Starting from Marrakech, we travelled around the mountainous Atlas areas and moved on out towards the fringes of the Sahara near Zagora, and then travelling as far north as Tinerhir. Transport was in a 4x4 Toyota "Land Cruiser" and was just the job for all the off-road treks.

Why "The Last Kasbah"? Morocco is full of them. And especially in the Dades Valley..."The Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs". Our trip out of the Atlas Mountains was to say goodbye to the kasbahs..."The Last Kasbah".
