Trekked to a mud volcano which is used by local wildlife as a mineral/salt lick.
I decided to get right in and tried burying myself! Couldn't be bothered to put my clothes back on and trekked back as is with hat, glasses, shorts and boots. At least the mud covering kept the leeches at bay! One of the few occasions that I wasn't "leeched". Luckily our local guide carried all of my other clothes and camera equipment.
Came to this dirt road and a vehicle filled with locals drove by and they gave us some funny looks...can't think why! Had a wash/swim in the river to get all that mud off (hard to remove!) when getting back. Tabin Wildlife Reserve, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia.
