

Me on top of Mt Sinai, Egypt. Started the climb from St Catherine's Monastery at 3am and got to the top at 5:30am...to see the sunrise of course - shame it was cloudy!
Tips -
Take winter clothing and make sure you have layers - it gets very warm on the way down...
Take food.
If possible, climb during the day and then "camp" at the top overnight to see the sunrise.
If climbing at night, make sure you have a good flashlight!
For the less able people - camels are available along the route to take you most of the way up but the higher up (and more tired) you are the more expensive the camels!
