A panoramic from the NASA Mars Exploration Rover "Opportunity".

This started off as an experiment. I took the basic NASA photo and using hints of 180 degree field of view and assuming a cylindrical projection changed the image to show a truer perspective of the image. I've still got some more work to do on it as the height seems to be a bit exaggerated.

The initial horizontal field of view is approx 65 degrees.

This panorama has been tested and found to work correctly in Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0, Mozilla Firefox 2.0, Mozilla Firefox 3.0 and Opera 9.50 with Java and JavaScript enabled running on Microsoft Windows XP Pro and Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit. Firefox 3 beta 5 running under Ubuntu 8.04 has also been found to work correctly. Other browser/OS combinations may not display the panorama correctly. Apologies for this inconvenience.
